Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses under the supervision of senior researchers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, results, and observations in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of experiments, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Order, receive, and inventory laboratory supplies and consumables.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution and data integrity.
- Assist with data collection, entry, and preliminary analysis as required.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions.
Required Skills
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling.
- Proficiency in using common laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, pH meters, pipettes).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently when required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
