Job Description
Are you an ambitious and creative Landscape Architect with a passion for designing inspiring outdoor spaces that enhance both communities and ecological systems? Career.zycto is actively seeking a talented and driven individual to join our network of premier design practices based in the vibrant region of Hinckley, Leicestershire. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional eager to make a significant impact on diverse projects, ranging from master planning new communities and designing vibrant urban parks to crafting sustainable residential developments, ecological restoration initiatives, and sophisticated public realm enhancements. Crucially, for the right candidate who demonstrates outstanding potential and a commitment to excellence, visa sponsorship is available, underscoring our dedication to attracting world-class talent and fostering an international team.
As a Landscape Architect, you will play a pivotal role throughout the entire project lifecycle, transforming conceptual ideas into tangible, sustainable, and award-winning environments. You will be instrumental in developing innovative design solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing and culturally relevant but also functionally robust and environmentally responsible. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being of communities, enhance biodiversity, and contribute to the health of our planet. This role demands a unique blend of artistic flair, strong conceptualisation skills, technical proficiency in design software, and a deep understanding of horticultural, ecological, and environmental principles.
You will be expected to lead and contribute to all phases of design, from initial client briefings and site analysis through concept development, detailed design, tender documentation, and on-site construction supervision. Expect to engage proactively with clients, local authorities, statutory bodies, and multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and engineers, ensuring that designs meet exacting project briefs, budget constraints, and all relevant regulatory requirements. Our partner firms pride themselves on fostering collaborative environments where creativity is not just encouraged but celebrated, and continuous professional development is a cornerstone of our culture. This position offers a unique chance to work on a varied portfolio, push the boundaries of contemporary landscape design, and see your visionary concepts come to life, shaping the built and natural world around us. If you’re ready to advance your career in a supportive, forward-thinking, and globally-minded setting where your expertise is genuinely valued, and opportunities for growth are abundant, we strongly encourage you to explore this outstanding opening. Bring your vision, your unparalleled design prowess, and your unwavering commitment to excellence to a role where you can truly leave an indelible mark.
