Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs to learn lathe operation.
- Learn to set up, operate, and monitor conventional and eventually CNC lathes to produce precision parts.
- Develop skills in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, and adjusting machine settings for optimal performance under supervision.
- Perform routine quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Learn basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Identify and report any machine malfunctions, production issues, or quality deviations promptly.
