Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and iron all linens and garments according to company standards and specific instructions.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironers, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any malfunctions.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, or wear, applying appropriate treatment or escalating issues as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area at all times.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, detergents, and chemicals, and notify supervisors of replenishment needs.
- Assist with other general housekeeping or support tasks as required.
- Handle delicate fabrics and special garments with care, following specific care labels.
