Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all hotel linens, including sheets, towels, tablecloths, and staff uniforms, according to established procedures.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironers safely and efficiently.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, and wear, treating stains appropriately and reporting damaged items.
- Handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and workspace.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, detergents, and chemicals, reporting needs to management.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Assist with other hotel-related duties as required, supporting the overall team.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
