Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive L&D strategies and programs aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct thorough training needs assessments across all departments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Curate and create engaging learning content, including e-learning modules, workshops, manuals, and blended learning solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end learning lifecycle, from program conceptualisation to delivery and post-training evaluation.
- Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and team-building activities, both virtually and in-person.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the organisation.
- Utilise Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HR Information Systems (HRIS) for tracking, reporting, and managing learning activities.
- Collaborate effectively with department heads, senior leadership, and external partners to ensure L&D initiatives are relevant and impactful.
- Monitor and manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and demonstrable ROI.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and innovative technologies in learning and development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a Learning & Development management or senior specialist role.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
- Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and various e-learning authoring tools.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously while effectively managing flexible working hours.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather data, evaluate program effectiveness, and report on key metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Learning & Development (e.g., CIPD Level 5/7, ATD certifications).
- Experience in designing and implementing blended learning approaches.
- Familiarity with emerging L&D technologies such as AI-powered learning platforms or VR for training.
- Previous experience working within a consultancy or professional services environment.
