Job Description

This role calls for a visionary and agile Learning & Development Manager to champion our commitment to continuous learning and professional growth within Career.zycto. Operating with flexible hours, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning programs that empower our employees across all levels and departments. We’re seeking an individual who can strategically align L&D initiatives with our business objectives, ensuring our workforce is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles and adapt to future challenges.

As our Learning & Development Manager, you will take ownership of the full L&D lifecycle, from needs assessment and content creation to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement. This includes developing engaging curricula, workshops, and digital learning modules that cater to diverse learning styles and address specific skill gaps. You will leverage modern learning technologies and methodologies to create a dynamic and accessible learning ecosystem, fostering a culture where curiosity is celebrated and personal development is paramount.

You will collaborate closely with departmental heads, HR business partners, and senior leadership to identify emerging training needs and anticipate future skill requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive learning needs assessments across various departments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective learning programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, blended learning solutions, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Manage the full training lifecycle, from content creation and instructional design to delivery, facilitation, and post-program evaluation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to ensure learning content is relevant, accurate, and impactful, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Utilize learning technologies (LMS, authoring tools) to create, deliver, and manage modern learning experiences, maximizing accessibility and engagement.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D initiatives using key metrics, participant feedback, and business impact data, reporting on ROI and making data-driven improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches into our strategy.
  • Coach and mentor internal trainers and facilitators, enhancing their delivery skills and content expertise.
  • Develop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective program delivery.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, personal accountability, and professional growth throughout the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a Learning & Development management or senior specialist role.
  • Strong instructional design and content creation abilities, with a portfolio showcasing diverse learning solutions.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align L&D initiatives directly with overarching business objectives and drive organizational change.
  • Analytical skills to effectively evaluate program effectiveness, interpret data, and demonstrate tangible return on investment.
  • Strong project management expertise, including planning, execution, resource allocation, and stakeholder management for multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects effectively, and thrive in a flexible hours work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master's degree is a significant advantage.
  • Certifications in instructional design (e.g., ATD CPLP), adult learning principles, or talent development.
  • Experience operating in a remote or hybrid work environment, utilizing virtual collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with various assessment tools, competency frameworks, and performance management systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry, demonstrating adaptability and innovation.
