Job Description

This role is crucial for fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across our organization. As our Learning & Development Manager, Flexible Hours, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning programs that align with Career.zycto’s strategic objectives and support our employees’ career aspirations. We are seeking an innovative and results-driven individual who can blend traditional and modern learning methodologies, including e-learning platforms, workshops, coaching, and on-the-job training, to deliver engaging and effective solutions.

You will be responsible for conducting thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across various departments. From there, you will craft bespoke learning paths, curate content from diverse sources, and, where appropriate, develop original training materials. A significant part of this role involves collaborating closely with department heads and senior leadership to ensure that L&D initiatives are integrated seamlessly with business goals and performance metrics. We value flexibility, and this position offers the autonomy to manage your schedule effectively while ensuring project deadlines and departmental needs are consistently met.

Beyond program design, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our learning initiatives, from budgeting and resource allocation to vendor management and post-training evaluation. Measuring the effectiveness of training programs through KPIs, feedback surveys, and performance improvements will be key to demonstrating ROI and continuously refining our approach. You will also be a champion of our learning culture, inspiring employees to take ownership of their development and promoting a mindset of lifelong learning. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive learning needs analyses across the organization to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
  • Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective learning programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, blended learning solutions, and coaching initiatives.
  • Manage the full training lifecycle from concept to evaluation, including content creation, delivery, and post-program assessment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and leadership to align L&D strategies with business objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage external training vendors and resources as needed.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of L&D programs, reporting on progress to senior management.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional development within Career.zycto.
  • Administer and optimize our Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Develop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective and high-impact solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and innovative technologies in learning and development.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a Learning & Development management role, demonstrating strategic program design and implementation.
  • Expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and blended learning methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Ability to conduct needs assessments and evaluate training effectiveness using data and metrics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Certifications in instructional design, coaching, or talent development (e.g., CPLP, ATD).
  • Experience with diverse learning technologies and innovative learning solutions.
  • Background in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and their integration with L&D platforms.
