Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure company compliance with German and EU laws and regulations, particularly in data privacy (GDPR), consumer protection, and employment law.
- Identify and assess legal risks, developing strategies for mitigation.
- Manage and oversee intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyrights.
- Advise on corporate governance issues and support board-level decision-making.
- Conduct legal research and provide accurate summaries and recommendations.
- Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Develop and deliver legal training to internal teams.
- Stay updated on legislative changes and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (Volljurist)
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Legal Advisor or in a similar role within a corporate environment or reputable law firm.
- In-depth knowledge of German and EU commercial law, contract law, and data protection regulations (GDPR).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal, in German and English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specific legal areas such as IP law, employment law, or IT law.
