Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team in Schwabing-Freimann, Munich. As a Legal Advisor, you will be instrumental in providing expert legal counsel across various aspects of our business operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in Germany and internationally. You will be expected to proactively identify potential legal risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support our teams in navigating complex legal landscapes.

This position demands a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including HR, Sales, and Product Development, advising on contracts, intellectual property, data protection, and corporate governance. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Ensure company compliance with German and EU laws and regulations, particularly in data privacy (GDPR), consumer protection, and employment law.
  • Identify and assess legal risks, developing strategies for mitigation.
  • Manage and oversee intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyrights.
  • Advise on corporate governance issues and support board-level decision-making.
  • Conduct legal research and provide accurate summaries and recommendations.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Develop and deliver legal training to internal teams.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (Volljurist)
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Legal Advisor or in a similar role within a corporate environment or reputable law firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of German and EU commercial law, contract law, and data protection regulations (GDPR).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal, in German and English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in specific legal areas such as IP law, employment law, or IT law.
  • Additional legal qualifications or certifications.
  • Proficiency in other European languages.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
