Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organise physical and electronic legal documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Draft, proofread, and format a variety of legal correspondence, reports, and court documents under supervision.
- Conduct preliminary legal research using various online and offline resources to support legal professionals.
- Maintain and update client files, ensuring all information is current, complete, and confidential.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing diaries, and coordinating meetings for solicitors and legal executives.
- Liaise professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and other external parties via phone, email, and in person.
- Prepare comprehensive bundles and documentation for court hearings, meetings, and client consultations.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and other financial administrative tasks as required, maintaining accurate records.
- Support legal professionals with ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all legal and ethical guidelines, including data protection regulations and client confidentiality.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and faxes, ensuring timely distribution and action.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong grammar and spelling.
