Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations for diverse client populations.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client goals.
- Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic, EMDR).
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and agency standards.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, case consultations, and team meetings to enhance client outcomes and professional growth.
- Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions and referrals.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health.
- Adhere strictly to all HIPAA regulations and professional ethical guidelines.
Required Skills
- Current and unrestricted licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist in California.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a direct client care setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Expertise in multiple evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and therapeutic alliances.
- Cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited program in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology.
- Bilingual proficiency in Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Mandarin, or Spanish is highly desirable.
- Specialized training or certification in specific therapeutic areas (e.g., trauma-informed care, substance abuse, perinatal mental health, play therapy).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Previous experience working in community mental health or private practice settings.
