Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement lighting plots and cues based on creative briefs and production requirements.
- Set up, rig, focus, and program a wide array of lighting fixtures, including LED, conventional, moving lights, and special effects.
- Operate lighting consoles (e.g., GrandMA, Hog4, Avolites) during live events and rehearsals.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on lighting equipment and associated control systems.
- Ensure all lighting setups comply with safety standards, electrical codes, and venue regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with directors, designers, sound engineers, and other production staff.
- Manage and organize lighting inventory, ensuring proper storage and functionality.
- Participate in load-in and load-out activities, ensuring efficient and safe handling of equipment.
- Stay updated with new lighting technologies, techniques, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in lighting design and theory.
- Hands-on experience with DMX-controlled lighting systems and consoles.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and rigging principles.
- Ability to read and interpret lighting plots and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills under pressure.

- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
