Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all menu items according to established recipes, standards, and plating guidelines.
  • Perform comprehensive mise en place, including chopping, portioning, and ingredient preparation for designated stations.
  • Operate all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and stoves.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work station throughout all shifts.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations (HACCP, ServSafe).
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, ensuring proper rotation and storage of ingredients.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, stocking, and quality checks.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional kitchen environment.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (1-2 years) as a Line Cook or in a similar high-volume culinary role.
  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen procedures.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to perform mise en place quickly and accurately.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., ServSafe certification preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to consistently high-quality output.
  • Strong team player with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications
