Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior recording engineers with the setup, calibration, and strike of recording equipment (microphones, cables, interfaces, etc.).
- Perform meticulous cable management and ensure proper signal flow connections.
- Monitor recording levels and equipment functionality during live events, reporting any issues promptly.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of audio gear and software.
- Organize and maintain equipment inventory, ensuring all components are accounted for and in good condition.
- Support post-event tasks such as data archiving, equipment cleaning, and storage.
- Learn and apply best practices for microphone placement and various recording techniques.
- Document session details, recording settings, and any technical notes as required.
