Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, internal departments, and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders and proactively resolving any delays or issues.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, customs declarations, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with regulations.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers to optimize costs and service quality.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including invoices, shipping manifests, and inventory levels.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the logistics chain.
- Manage and resolve discrepancies, damages, and returns efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role (3+ years).
- Excellent knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
