Job Description
We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and dedicated Logistics Coordinator to take charge of our warehouse and delivery operations in Denbigh, May Pen. This professional role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from our suppliers to our warehouse and ultimately to our customers. You will be at the heart of our supply chain, responsible for orchestrating the timely and cost-effective movement of inventory, managing warehouse activities, and optimizing delivery routes.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory, transportation, and customer service.
- Manage and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution of goods.
- Oversee warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve any logistics-related issues promptly.
- Negotiate with transport providers to secure favorable rates and services, and manage carrier performance.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse and during delivery processes.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within the logistics chain.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in logistics and inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of local transportation regulations and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
