Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, including receiving, warehousing, and dispatch.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, considering factors such as time constraints, cost-efficiency, and customer requirements.
- Supervise warehouse staff and delivery personnel, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety standards.
- Utilize logistics software and tracking systems to monitor shipments, identify potential issues, and provide real-time updates.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive logistics reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), delivery times, and cost analysis.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve any logistical challenges or discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Implement and promote best practices in warehouse management, inventory control, and delivery protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS).
- Strong understanding of local transportation regulations and import/export procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
