Your day-to-day will involve a critical blend of strategic planning and hands-on coordination. You will meticulously plan and execute the inbound and outbound logistics for a diverse range of products, utilizing your expertise to manage inventory levels, coordinate effectively with suppliers and carriers, and ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. This includes careful consideration of route optimization, freight selection, and risk management to minimize delays and disruptions. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end movement of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments, adhering to strict timelines and budget constraints.
- Manage warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, proper storage, and timely order fulfillment.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to schedule deliveries, track shipments, and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, customs forms, and invoices, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Optimize delivery routes and methods to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
- Generate comprehensive logistics reports on performance metrics, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proven proficiency in inventory management software and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Strong understanding of local and international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) at an advanced level.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Experience with cold chain logistics or handling perishable goods.
