Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Schedule and track inbound and outbound freight, optimizing routes and selecting appropriate carriers for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve logistical issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and compliance with relevant transportation regulations.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other logistics software to track inventory and shipments.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new logistics strategies and procedures.
- Provide regular reports on logistics performance, inventory status, and delivery metrics.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain roles.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with carriers and manage freight costs effectively.
