Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse management and delivery operations to join our growing team in Marlie Mount, Old Harbour. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor delivery schedules, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness across local and regional deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and compliance standards within the warehouse environment.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse and delivery staff, fostering a productive and cohesive team.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and customer service departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any logistical issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and analyze logistics performance metrics, presenting insights and recommendations to management.
- Handle customs clearance documentation and compliance for any international shipments, if applicable.
