Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and transportation modes for timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics activities.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing updates on status and proactively addressing any potential delays or issues.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logistics documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and delivery notes.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality.
- Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
- Resolve discrepancies and manage claims related to shipments, damages, or losses in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) where applicable.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, warehouse management, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing principles, and distribution networks.
- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
