Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and transportation modes for timely and cost-effective distribution.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics activities.
  • Monitor and track shipments, providing updates on status and proactively addressing any potential delays or issues.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate logistics documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and delivery notes.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality.
  • Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
  • Resolve discrepancies and manage claims related to shipments, damages, or losses in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) where applicable.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, warehouse management, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing principles, and distribution networks.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
