Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with a professional background in warehouse and delivery operations to join our team in St. Ann’s Bay, St. Ann. This crucial role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of goods, from inbound receipt and storage to outbound dispatch and delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of products, optimizing warehouse space, and coordinating timely deliveries to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a deep understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management best practices. You will serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, external vendors, and transportation partners, ensuring seamless communication and operational harmony. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Plan and schedule delivery routes, optimizing for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely customer service.
- Liaise with transportation providers, drivers, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues or delays.
- Monitor delivery performance, track shipments, and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards within the warehouse and during transit.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, invoices, and customs forms where applicable.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular audits of logistics processes to ensure adherence to quality and service level agreements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain coordination.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles, transportation regulations, and delivery optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Experience with route planning software and GPS tracking systems.
- Knowledge of local Jamaican customs and transportation regulations.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
