Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Manage warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and carrier selection to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, verifying quantities and quality against documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions, including waybills, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service) to fulfill orders and address logistical challenges.
- Negotiate with suppliers and freight forwarders to secure favourable rates and service agreements.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality standards across all warehouse and delivery operations.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
