Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch and routing of delivery vehicles for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage warehouse inventory, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and periodic stock reconciliation.
- Monitor and track shipments from point of origin to delivery, proactively resolving any issues or delays.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, invoices, and other necessary logistics records.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Provide regular updates and reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and delivery status to management.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
