Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team in Irish Town, St. Andrew. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics process, from inventory management and order fulfilment within the warehouse to dispatching and tracking deliveries. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage warehouse inventory, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products, while maintaining accurate records.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, considering factors such as cost, time, and service level agreements.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues and improve processes.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, customs declarations, and packing lists.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing any delays or discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain safety standards and compliance with all relevant transportation and warehousing regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and supply chain best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
