Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Falmouth, Trelawny. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Oversee warehouse activities, ensuring efficient storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, customer service) to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and export declarations.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to optimize routes, track shipments, and manage inventory.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise in the logistics process.
- Negotiate with carriers, suppliers, and external partners to secure favourable rates and services.
- Analyze and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
