Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Plan and schedule daily delivery routes, optimizing for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation, utilizing inventory management systems effectively.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders and resolving any transit issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Assist in the negotiation of rates with freight forwarders and carriers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new logistics processes and technologies to enhance efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
