Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations, maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace.
- Verify quantities and inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues promptly.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking, packing, and labeling items according to order specifications.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the warehouse and loading areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties related to logistics and warehousing as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg) regularly.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for counting and reading labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
