Key Responsibilities
- Assist the primary driver with pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Efficiently and safely load and unload cargo, adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured and strapped to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify shipping documentation, invoices, and manifests for accuracy before and after delivery.
- Assist with navigation and route planning as directed by the primary driver.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck cabin and cargo area.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the primary driver, dispatch, and clients.
- Support basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
- Represent Career.zycto professionally to clients and the public at all times.
Required Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally more with assistance).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong, dependable work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for handling documentation and record-keeping.
- Comfortable with long periods of travel and varying work schedules, including nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, general labour, or similar physically demanding role.
- Valid G Class Driver's License (though not for operating the commercial vehicle in this role, it demonstrates driving aptitude).
- First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.
