Key Responsibilities
- Assist audio engineers and producers with session setup, including microphone placement, cable routing, and instrument preparation.
- Ensure all studio equipment is clean, organized, and properly stored before, during, and after sessions.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of studio equipment and report any issues promptly to senior staff.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization, including control rooms, live rooms, and communal areas.
- Prepare refreshments and ensure artist comfort during long recording sessions.
- Assist with file management, session backups, and archival processes as directed.
- Learn and adhere to all studio protocols, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Provide general administrative support as needed, such as answering phones or greeting clients.
- Proactively anticipate needs during sessions and offer support to keep things running efficiently.
