Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and monitor store premises for suspicious activities, theft, or unusual behavior.
  • Act as a visible deterrent to potential external and internal theft.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the sales floor, stockroom, and exterior areas.
  • Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the apprehension and detention of individuals involved in theft, adhering strictly to company policy and legal guidelines.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and maintain clear documentation.
  • Collaborate with store management and law enforcement as needed during investigations.
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a security presence.
  • Help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance loss prevention skills.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
