Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and report any deviations.
- Conduct minor troubleshooting and basic preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products, ensuring accurate handling and storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations.
- Accurately complete production logs, reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth production operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Machine Operator in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate complex machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and production schedules.
- Understanding of industrial safety protocols and best practices.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical vocational training is a strong asset.
- Certification in machine operation or industrial safety.
- Experience with production management systems (e.g., ERP, MES).
- First Aid and/or Forklift Operator certification.
