Job Description

Vale Moçambique is seeking a diligent and reliable Mailroom Helper to join our administrative support team in Samora Machel, Tete. Key Responsibilities

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries to appropriate departments and individuals within the office.
  • Process outgoing mail, including weighing, stamping, and preparing items for dispatch via postal services or couriers.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring all items are properly logged and tracked.
  • Operate various mailroom equipment, such as postage meters, scanners, and package tracking systems.
  • Assist with the delivery and collection of documents between different office locations or departments.
  • Ensure the mailroom is kept tidy, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Provide basic administrative support as needed, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff regarding mail status, delivery times, and service requests.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, especially regarding security and data privacy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall office operations and efficiency.
