Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep.
- Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify and report necessary repairs or maintenance work.
- Assist skilled technicians with more complex repairs and installations.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues in store equipment (e.g., trolleys, shelving, display units).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of seasonal displays or store fixtures.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed, materials used, and equipment serviced.
- Support inventory management of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
