Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and dusting surfaces in common areas, walkways, and seating areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring all fixtures are sparkling, supplies are replenished, and floors are maintained to the highest hygiene standards.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of trash in designated areas regularly throughout shifts.
- Respond promptly to spills and accidents, cleaning and cordoning off affected areas to ensure public safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of food court tables, chairs, and surrounding areas, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Clean and polish glass surfaces, windows, and display cases to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment accurately, including floor scrubbers, vacuums, and buffing machines, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly and securely.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, particularly in a retail or mall environment.
