Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in the food court area, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and sanitizing floors regularly.
- Clean and disinfect dining tables, chairs, food counters, and other high-touch surfaces frequently throughout shifts.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners promptly, managing waste disposal efficiently and hygienically.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms adjacent to the food court, and service corridors.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored safely after each use.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies, especially concerning food service areas.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels in restrooms as needed.
- Assist with immediate spill clean-ups and other urgent cleaning needs to maintain a safe and presentable environment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, food court vendors, and security personnel to ensure seamless operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a commercial, retail, or public setting.
- Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage, with an emphasis on safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-traffic environment.
