Job Description
Sauti Moja Resort is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our dedicated wellness team. You will be responsible for conducting thorough client consultations to understand their specific needs, health conditions, and preferences, then expertly designing and delivering personalized massage treatments. These treatments may encompass a wide range of techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, reflexology, and other specialized therapeutic modalities that you are certified in. Beyond the hands-on therapy, your crucial role will involve maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards within the treatment rooms and the entire spa area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized, prepared, and in excellent working order. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage treatments, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and specialized therapeutic massages.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to identify individual needs, preferences, and any contraindications.
- Develop and customize treatment plans based on client assessments and desired outcomes.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked, and prepared before and after each session.
- Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols in line with spa and health regulations.
- Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and recommend appropriate retail products for home care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a comfortable, relaxing, and professional experience for all guests.
- Collaborate with other spa and resort staff to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency.
- Attend regular training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge of new techniques and products.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of spa supplies as needed.
Required Skills
- Diploma or Certificate in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a spa or resort setting.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology).
- Excellent knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a serene and therapeutic environment.

Preferred Qualifications
