Job Description
This Material Handler – Inventory Support role offers an immediate start for a diligent, detail-oriented, and physically capable individual to join our dynamic operations team in Briargate, Colorado Springs. When it comes to outbound logistics, you’ll be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring all documentation is complete and correct.

You will be trained and expected to operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, always adhering to strict safety protocols and company guidelines. Beyond routine tasks, this role requires a proactive approach to inventory integrity. You will actively participate in regular cycle counts, assist in quarterly physical inventories, and help identify and resolve any discrepancies. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations using appropriate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and integrity of products.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and assisting with physical inventories.
- Identify and report discrepancies in inventory counts, product damage, or shipping errors.
- Ensure the warehouse and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role (minimum 1 year).
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and understand safety instructions.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
