Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced butchers in trimming, cutting, and preparing various types of meat products.
  • Learn and adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment regularly to maintain a pristine and safe environment.
  • Organize and rotate meat inventory, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
  • Package and label finished meat products accurately and efficiently.
  • Load and unload meat deliveries, ensuring proper storage upon arrival.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of product quality, identifying and reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Perform general utility duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and efficiently.

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 20kg) and stand for extended periods.
