Job Description
JFS Lda. is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanic Aide to join our dynamic team in Monapo, Nampula Province. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, heavy machinery, and equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, lubrication, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
- Help disassemble and reassemble mechanical components under supervision.
- Clean, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Retrieve parts and supplies as needed, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Conduct basic inspections of vehicles and machinery, reporting any anomalies or potential issues to senior mechanics.
- Learn and apply safety procedures and regulations consistently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Assist with documentation of maintenance activities and repair records.
- Support the team in emergency roadside assistance or on-site repairs when required.
- Proactively seek opportunities to learn new skills and improve mechanical knowledge.
