Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, creation, and production of multimedia content, including videos, photos, infographics, and written articles, for various platforms such as social media, website, internal communications, and marketing campaigns.
- Support the coordination of content shoots, interviews, and events, including logistics, equipment setup, and talent management.
- Perform basic video editing, photo retouching, and graphic design tasks using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Conduct research for content ideas, industry trends, and competitor analysis to inform content strategy.
- Help manage and organize digital assets, ensuring proper filing, tagging, and accessibility.
- Assist with social media scheduling, monitoring, and engagement, ensuring brand consistency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand communication needs and translate them into compelling content.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing department as required.
- Ensure all content produced adheres to VKB Group's brand guidelines and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans (advantageous)
- Basic understanding of content creation principles for various digital platforms
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
