Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive media plans across various digital and traditional channels.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and audience analysis to inform media strategy.
  • Manage and allocate media budgets effectively to maximize campaign ROI.
  • Negotiate rates and secure media placements with vendors and publishers.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with creative, account management, and analytics teams to ensure integrated campaign execution.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in media planning.
  • Prepare and present media strategies and performance reports to clients.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of proven experience in media planning and buying.
  • Proficiency with media planning and analytics tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, SEMrush, programmatic platforms).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw strategic conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (French an asset).
  • Demonstrated negotiation abilities with media vendors.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a media or advertising agency.
