Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, using POS systems.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and respond to requests politely and promptly.
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with grace and professionalism.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other front-of-house team members.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash/card transactions.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and active listening abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for handling payments
