You will be responsible for a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, working closely with our pediatricians and nursing staff. From preparing examination rooms, accurately taking and recording vital signs, to assisting with minor procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring precise documentation in our electronic health records system, your organizational skills and attention to detail will be vital. Beyond the technical aspects, your ability to interact kindly and reassuringly with children and their parents is paramount. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and escort patients to examination rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness, stocking supplies, and sterilizing equipment.
- Assist pediatricians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer immunizations and medications as directed by a physician and within scope of practice.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection (e.g., phlebotomy, urinalysis).
- Educate patients and families on proper medication usage, diets, and follow-up care.
- Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and referrals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, processing paperwork, and managing correspondence.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with children and parents.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications
