Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe dictated medical reports from various healthcare professionals accurately and efficiently.
- Verify patient information and report details for accuracy and completeness.
- Edit and proofread transcribed reports for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency.
- Ensure all medical documentation adheres to established formatting guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical reference materials, dictionaries, and specialized software to ensure accuracy of terms and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding any discrepancies or clarifications needed in dictations.
- Manage transcription workload to meet deadlines and turnaround time requirements.
- Maintain and update knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic procedures, and treatment protocols.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Proficiency in transcription software and word processing applications.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
