As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals experiencing mental health challenges to live fulfilling and independent lives. Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred emotional and practical support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.
- Assist clients in developing independent living skills, including budgeting, meal preparation, and personal care.
- Support clients in accessing community resources, educational opportunities, and employment pathways.
- Facilitate and participate in therapeutic activities, social events, and group sessions.
- Monitor and report on clients' progress, well-being, and any changes in their mental state to senior staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and care plans in accordance with organisational policies.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies.
- Adhere strictly to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and dignity of all clients.
- Participate actively in all provided training and continuous professional development programs.
