Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, arrange, and dismantle the merchandise booth in an appealing and organized manner.
  • Warmly greet and engage with event attendees and potential customers.
  • Accurately process sales transactions using cash, mobile payment systems, and provide correct change.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stock replenishment, and report low stock levels.
  • Provide comprehensive information about Vodacom products, services, and promotional merchandise.
  • Ensure the booth is always clean, tidy, and visually appealing.
  • Handle customer inquiries and minor issues professionally and efficiently, escalating complex matters when necessary.
  • Report daily sales activities and provide feedback on customer interactions and popular merchandise.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding cash handling and customer service standards.

Required Skills

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in Portuguese.
  • Basic mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
  • High level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 10 kg (for booth setup/teardown).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail, sales, promotions, or event support roles.
  • Familiarity with mobile payment systems or basic POS (Point of Sale) software.
  • Knowledge of Vodacom products and services.
  • Fluency in local languages prevalent in Manica Province (e.g., Sena, Ndau).
