Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled metal fabricators and welders with various tasks as directed.
  • Transport and position materials and tools within the workshop safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding, cutting, and fabrication processes.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under direct supervision (e.g., grinders, drills, tape measures).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including sweeping and tidying the workshop.
  • Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and ensure proper storage.
  • Support in the assembly of fabricated components.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Perform general shop duties as needed to support overall production goals.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of safety practices.
