Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define system requirements, design interfaces, and integrate services.
- Implement robust APIs, ensuring security, reliability, and efficient data exchange.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices and engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing microservices to enhance performance and stability.
- Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to microservices and cloud-native development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in designing and developing microservices architectures.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, Node.js).
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Spring Boot (for Java/Kotlin roles) or similar framework for other languages.
- Knowledge of cloud-native development principles and serverless architectures.
- Experience with distributed tracing and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger).
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
