Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable microservices using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define system requirements, design interfaces, and integrate services.
  • Implement robust APIs, ensuring security, reliability, and efficient data exchange.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices and engineering standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing microservices to enhance performance and stability.
  • Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to microservices and cloud-native development.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in designing and developing microservices architectures.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, Node.js).
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and asynchronous communication patterns.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Spring Boot (for Java/Kotlin roles) or similar framework for other languages.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native development principles and serverless architectures.
  • Experience with distributed tracing and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger).
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
