Key Responsibilities

  • Source and develop new client relationships through various channels.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis of client needs and objectives.
  • Advise clients on suitable mortgage products (FHA, VA, Conventional, Jumbo, etc.).
  • Guide clients through the entire mortgage application and closing process.
  • Liaise effectively with lenders, underwriters, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local lending laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain a strong professional network to foster referrals and repeat business.
  • Manage a robust pipeline of clients efficiently using CRM and loan origination systems.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a Mortgage Broker or Loan Officer.
  • Active NMLS license in good standing.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and compliance regulations.
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and loan origination systems (LOS).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a pipeline remotely.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Established book of business and referral network.
  • Experience working with diverse client profiles (e.g., first-time homebuyers, investors, self-employed individuals).
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
